Large party, mixed reviews unfortunately. Staff lovely though.

The Hotel was Clean, Comfortable and very nicely furnished, I believe it was undergoing refurbishment and Decor was first class.A good selection of Breakfast choice, we did however encounter numerous difficulties with our Evening meals, Dissapointed with starter of Candied beetroot and Greek cheese with Balsamic Glaze, I found NO beetroot, candied or otherwise, and asked for it to be returned to kitchen too be glazed, I counted four small squares of feta.Three mains were asked to be returned to kitchen to keep warm as the fourth meal had not been prepared at all. Our meals, when they did arrive were first class.I believe more communication and coordination between servers and kitchen requires attention. This did not spoil our stay, however it did cause some embarrassment, for both us and staff.

Great food again we love this restuarant excellent value for money

We visited on our way back from a business trip and booked our room online. When we arrived we were given our room key but upon opening the door the smell of paint was so strong, when we got in we opened the window but then noticed a thick layer of white dust and splatters of paint on the glass of the window itself. We looked around a bit and the dust was everywhere, on the spoons, cups etc. Anyway we went back to reception to ask for a different room, the woman was fine and apologized she didnt know that it hadnt been cleaned since painting...lack of communication between staff I suppose. We got given a different key for the outbuilding. When we went over there was a group of five standing right outside our room door smoking and drinking, upon getting inside everything was old and smelled like smoke and damp. We could hear the TV from next door. The window had ome handle falling off and the other handle was just gone. The wardrobe door was hanging off..anyway we went back inside and were ready to leave and just make the drive home instead of staying the night. The lady at reception was helpful and provided us with a twin room and offered to have them pushed together. Third time lucky, it was perfect. Great decor and very clean. We went for a meal in the restaurant which was lovely. I think they are doing up the place which is good, I reccommend asking for a recently renovated room when booking, hopefully the other rooms will get done up too.

Mixed bag. Staff were good. However service was slow and food was 50/50. Will give it another try as place was nice.
