A fantastic preserved railway with a cracking museum attached. Well worth a visit. Nice cafe and shop. Very child friendly.
Regular visitor here. Fantastic day out for all ages. Great staff. Kids love it. The train ride is fantastic and the museum is out of this world.

This was an amazing museum. Im extremely shocked and saddened to hear of its closure. This museum is what turned me into a steam enthusiast back in 2008! And made me want to drive these engines. It had an amazing set of volunteers and an amazing museum where you could get close to the steam engines! The engines were well looked after and had great stock both working and non working. This museum started something that had great impact on my life. I hope this isnt the end for it. Hopefully sometime in the future it might reopen.
Brilliant place with loads to see. Hadn't been for a while but need to visit more often. Recommended for all ages.
